Sparkling snowflakes fall to the ground.
Glittering ice ponds are all around.
A pale white moon shines on the snow,
little white foxes creep down low.
But that's not all,
Christmas lights shine bright,
and soon presents fall down the chimney at midnight!

Tortilla de Patatas
If you like the taste of french fries, you'll love the spanish tortilla. The spanish tortilla is a delicious half-inch thick "cake" of fried potatoes mixed with fried eggs and onions. After cooking, the tortilla can be cut into pizza-like triangles to serve 4-6 people, or cut into squares to give a whole group a bite-sized toothpick sample.
The Recipe for Tirtilla de Patatas is:
1 cup olive oil
four large potatos (peel and cut into small pieces about 2mm thick)
salt to taste
one large onion, thinly sliced
four large eggs.
This is how you make it :
Some people add thin slices of red pepper together with the onion.
Heat the oil in a 9-inch skillet, add potato pieces, one slice at a time so that they don't stick. Alternate layers of potato and onion. Cook slowly, medium flame. DO NOT FRY!! Turn occasionally until potatoes are tender, but NOT brown. They must be loose, not "in a cake".
Beat eggs in a large bowl with a fork. Salt to taste. Drain potatoes. Add potatoes to beaten eggs, pressing them so that eggs cover them completely. Let sit for 15 minutes. Heat 2 tbsps of the oil in large skillet. Add potato-egg mixture, spreading quickly. Lower the heat to medium-high. Shake pan to prevent sticking. When potatoes start to brown, put a plate on top skillet and flip to cook other side, adding another tbsp of oil. Brown on the other side. Can flip three or four times for better cooking.
I suggest everyone should try this !!

The Santa Clause
My favorite Christmas movie is The Santa Clause. The Santa Clause is a Christmas film released by Walt Disney Pictures and Hollywood Pictures, starring Tim Allen. Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) is a father who finds himself literally wearing the mantle of Santa Claus after the death of the famous Christmas figure, and contractually bound to become Santa Clause himself. Scott Calvin (Tim Allen) is an undependable, divorced father with a poor reputation of spending quality time with his son, Charlie. On Christmas Eve, when Charlie is spending the night at his father's house, they are awakened by a noise on the roof. They go outside to check the noise out, Scott can see someone on the roof. He yells at the trespasser, startling him, which causes him to fall off the roof to the snowy ground below, killing him.
Investigating, Scott and Charlie find the trespasser appears to be Santa Clause. In moments, he dies and suddenly disappears, but his suit remains behind. Searching through the suit, they find a business card stating that if something should happen to the man "Santa clause", someone should put on the suit, climb into the sleigh and the reindeer will know what to do. Climbing a ladder, they inspect the roof and find a sleigh and eight reindeer perched atop. The pair get into the sleigh and the reindeer soon liftoff with them aboard. Although he is not happy about the whole situation, Scott puts on the Santa suit to appease his son and begins delivering toys as the deer go from rooftop to rooftop.
The last stop is a seemingly deserted spot in an icy landscape (the North Pole). There Scott is informed that he is the new Santa Claus. While Scott is being argumentative about the responsibilities he seems to have inherited, the head elf, Bernard, shows him a microscopic inscription on the card found in the suit which says that upon the death of the previous occupant, whoever dons the suit assumes the identity of Santa Claus and all the responsibilities that go with it, giving up his previous identity in the process. This is, in fact, the "Santa Clause," as summarized by Bernard: "You put on the suit, you're the big guy.
The Santa Clause has been my favorite Christmas movie since I was younger and it is like a tradition for me to yearly watch this movie around Christmas time. =)

R.I.P O.C.
It wasn't until last year, when the series finale of my favorite show had occur ed. The O.C. was an teen drama television series that originally aired on FOX from August 5, 2003, to February 22, 2007, running a total of four seasons. The O.C. also known as Orange County, California is an idyllic paradise, a wealthy, harbor-front community where everything and everyone appears to be perfect. But beneath the surface is a world of shifting loyalties and identities, of kids living secret lives hidden from their parents, and of parents living secret lives hidden from their children. 'The O.C.' tells the story of the Cohen, Cooper, and Nichol families, and Ryan Atwood, a troubled teen from the wrong side of the tracks, who is thrust into this world, and who will forever change the lives of the residents of The O.C.
The O.C. always had a exciting episode each week. It was one of my only favorite shows that i was addicted to for 4 years, and i was so upset to see it end. I ran out to buy each season on DVD so i would be able to watch it whenever i wanted to but it will never be the same, i still wish it was on air.

Cousins by Chance, Best friends by Choice.
It wasn't until about 7 months ago when I had finally met my 20 year old cousin who is only two years older them me. My cousin Tiffany only lives 2 blocks away from me. My grandmother and her grandmother are sisters and are very close. I had met my cousin several times at family parties but we were always very young and since we weren't brought up together we never really click.
Until finally one day my cousin Tiffany was across the street at my grandmothers house with her family. They had all come from a family party which I did not attend. My mother always wanted me to become close with Tiffany but I was always the shy one and never wanted to. I finally got up and went across to go say hi to my grandmother and cousins. I started talking to my cousin Tiffany and we had so many things in common.
It worked out perfect, after spending some time together me and Tiffany exchanged numbers and it ended up she got me a job working with her at a chiropractor's office. We ended up getting so close to each other, we are with each other almost everyday, whether it is between work, going out, sleepovers, or just sending time together. I think it is funny how she has lived 2 blocks away from me almost my whole life and we never really were close till now. I love it, she is not only my cousins by my new best friend.

Christmas Time
Christmas is one of my favorite times of the year. It is the most exciting holiday for me personally. I think its fun to run around from store to store, week after week shopping for the people that you love. I love buying presents for my family and friends. I enjoy sitting around the Christmas tree on Christmas eve and Day with my family exchanging presents and listening to Christmas music. I think it is one of the best holiday to celebrate.
But Christmas is not just about exchanging presents, it is about the birth of Jesus. We exchange presents and celebrate this holiday for one reason and one reason only, for Jesus Christ birth. Traditionally every year one Christmas Eve my family and myself go to church to begin Jesus celebration there and we got back home to celebrate it around the dinner table and end the celebration around the Christmas tree.
It is a fun holiday, I love going yearly to the city with my family and friends to go visit the tree and walk around with carolers singing and to see families with smiles on there faces. It is a great time of the year and a wonderful holiday to celebrate.

Spice Girls
The Spice Girls are a British all-female pop group. When I was around the age of 11 or 12 the Spice Girls were a very popular girls group. Everyone was crazy over them. They had many new albums each year that were released. On July 8, 1996 the Spice Girls released their debut single "Wannabe" in the United Kingdom. In November 1996 the Spice Girls released their debut album Spice in Europe. just seven weeks Spice had sold 1.8 million copies in Britain alone,[13] making the Spice Girls the fastest selling British act since The Beatles. In November 1997 the Spice Girls released their second album, Spice world. Preceded by the single "Spice Up Your Life", the album proved to be an instant global best seller.
The Spice Girls were a the most popular group about 5 or 6 years ago. One day, it was a shock to all that the girls had split. There were 5 of them and one of the lead singers were leaving the group. Many people were disappointed, since everyone was a big fan. The years when on and there were know more songs or new album released of the Spice Girls, they weren't famous anymore. Finally around 5 or 6 years later the Spice Girls are re-united and back in action. On February 13Th,2008 on my birthday I will be going to see one of my favorite girl group, the Spice Girls. They will be preforming and I am excited that they are finally back.
